What is Dogecoin?

Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency, like Bitcoin. Dogecoin is a fun, memeish, way to learn about and use cryptocurrencies.

So, if you do like Doge or cryptocurrencies, you'll probably love to use Dogecoin.

Q. Is this like Bitcoin?

A. Yes it is but it is forked from the Litecoin family of digital cryptographic currency, which improves upon Bitcoin. Dogecoin improves upon litecoin!
